KNIGHT BUILDING INSPECTION SERVICES
Client Request: A fresh, clean, modern layout that overviews services, prices, and has a form to submit quote requests.
I built this website from the ground up. I utilized about 20% stock and 80% of my own photography, aiming to incorporate the greens of the Knight logo to give the website continuity. I used large headlines and bold fonts to capture a theme of modernism in nature. I also copywrote, added Google SEO, connected a custom domain, edited graphics, added animations, mobile optimization, and more.
Client had a preexisting Wordpress website that was in desperate need of quick renovations in order to reach projected launch date.
This client hired a non-local freelancer who built the website and then seemed to disappear into thin air. This is a common issue that I hear about a lot from my clients.
This website needed optimization, spelling and verbiage checks, broken link and image fixes, and more. I was able to fix the website in time for Golden Grading's launch date goal, and the results have been phenomenal for them!
THE DRY EYE DRINK
Client had a preexisting Shopify website that did not have the professional look the client was seeking.
When I was approached by Dr. Davidson and Williamson Eye Clinic about this website, I could immediately tell how passionate they were about their new product. I wanted their website to break down the science of their product into something not only easy to understand, but also appealing. I ultilized all my own photography and videography, and created graphics for this website.
SOUTHSIDE CIVIC ASSOCIATION
Client Request: A website to represent the Southside neighborhoods of Baton Rouge, recruit new members, and relay information to existing members.
I started this assignment by cruising through the neighborhoods of Southside Baton Rouge to take photographs. I wanted to get a feel of the neighborhood in order to create a website space that reflected the colors, sounds, and culture of the area. I used all of my own photography and created a logo for their association. As this website is used for news and meeting schedules, this site requires frequent updates.
KREWE OF SOUTHDOWNS MARDI GRAS PARADE
Client Request: A user-friendly whimsical website that captures the color and energy of our unique parade. Archive pages to serve as a place to store and share years of memories. Resources for krewe members. Promotion of ball, meeting, and parade events.
Capturing the spirit of a 30+ year old Mardi Gras parade ended up being a massive undertaking! I had so much fun working with the krewe to collect and archive photos, documents, and even digitizing cassette videotapes. I used bright colors and large photographs to capture the eccentric and artistic nature of the parade.
Client Request: A website that introduces the artist, gives the artist's statement, and showcases art pieces. A way for potential patrons to contact the artist.
For this project, I chose simple and clean layouts and fonts to keep attention focused the artist’s work. The artist’s statement, biography, credentials, and contact information are featured on this site.
